Zee's up-tempo beat provides a backdrop for exploration of all aspects of love – from the intensity of it eating away inside you, to friendship, sisterhood, family and self-love. Ultimately though, love, in its true form where we are all able to love ourselves, is a cocoon for healing to take place.

Garden of my Soul
Habitus’ mellow hip-hop vibe provides a dreamy landscape where Unity reminisces on childhood Christmases. This time of year can be a difficult time for many who have lost a loved one - memories of red ribbons, fairy lights and golden angels are mixed in with sadness. Seeds of grief for loved ones can grow into a garden around our hearts to protect us from the pain.

Blueberry Flapjacks, feat. Szwé
This more traditional love song speaks of the intricacies of a relationship and how love grows and changes over time as couples become older together. Set to Naziaaa’s gentle beat the track is an honest exploration of long-term love.

Longstanding lover and contributor to Hiphop culture, as a DJ, Bgirl, and Graff writer, Unity is a founding member of Ladies of Rage. She has cemented her place in Cardiff’s Hiphop scene, supporting Kae Tempest at Tramshed last year, and starting 2020 with an opening slot for Verb T at the same venue. This is her second EP, a follow up to ‘Progress is a Process’, released in June 2020.
